Leader in wins in 1941-42 and 1946-47…most wins in two consecutive season with 32…one of two pitchers with two consecutive 15+ wins (the other one is Billy Byrd)…only imported pitcher selected MVP twice (1941-42 and 1946-47)…one of five players selected MVP twice…one of three players selected MVP with two teams (Guayama 1941-42 and San Juan 1946-47)…in 1941-42, besides winning 11 games in a row, he batted .337 (166/56)…led the league in earned-run average in 1946-47 (1.25)…in 2014 he was selected as one of the best 75 players of the Puerto Rico Professional League.
