Led the league in home runs 1950-51 (18), runs batted 1954-55 (61), runs (1940-41 (49) and stolen bases 1941-42 (18)…one of four players to hit lifetime .300+ and .500+ slugging …lifetime second best ratio of ab/rbi´s with 4.48 (2,063/461)…fourth all time in slugging (.511); sixth in home runs (98); eighth in runs batted in (461); and eleventh in batting average (.301)…first player and one of four to hit two homers in the same inning…(vs. Ponce 11/10/40)…hit for the cycle (vs. Santurce 12/22/40)…His home run ratio is the third all time best with 21.05 …as manager/player he won the Caribbean Series with Santurce in 1953 with a perfect record of 6-0…named to the Puerto Rico Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996 and the Caribbean Series Hall of Fame in 2020…in 2014 he was selected as one of the best 75 players of the Puerto Rico Professional League.
