Leader in strikeouts in 1944-45 (81) and 1945-46 (75)…first to win 100 games and one of five…Lifetime he is fifth in wins (105); sixth in strikeouts (785) and innings pitched (1378.1); eighth in earn run average (3.43)…in 1945 he won three games vs. Ponce in two days: one Saturday, January 20, and two on Sunday, January 21 (both in relief)…one of four active in four decades…in 2014 he was selected as one of the best 75 players of the Puerto Rico Professional League. Inducted into the Puerto Rico Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025.
