Led the league in wins in 1938-39 (11), 1943-44 (15) and earn run average in 1942-43 (1.83)…only pitcher with 10+wins with three teams (Guayama, Ponce y Caguas)…won the last three games in 1942-43 and 15 in a row in 1943-44 for a total of 18 consecutive wins…lifetime he is eighth in wins (85)…On December 11, 1938, he became the first pitcher to hit a home run (inside the park)…in the first edition of the Semipro World Series, held on September 1939 in Puerto Rico, against the United States champion, Duncan Cementeers, he won two of four games, both shutouts…named to the Puerto Rico Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992…in 2014 he was selected as one of the best 75 players of the Puerto Rico Professional League.
