Jorge Colón-Delgado

Member of the Society for Baseball Research (SABR) since 1999. He has researched baseball history in Puerto Rico for the past twenty-two years. In 2003 he was appointed Official Historian of the Puerto Rico Professional Baseball League and inducted into two sports halls of fame: Santurce and Rio Piedras. He has a Lifetime Pass to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown for his contributions to preserving baseball history. Author of seven books, one short film, editor of beisbol101.com, and negroleaguerspuertorico.com. He also has a monthly videocast called ¨Negro Leaguers in Puerto Rico¨. On April 2022, he was appointed to the 42 for 21 Committee and, in October, General Coordinator of the Puerto Rico Professional Baseball Hall of Fame. .
